The following is the letter from Tiffany Knapp, President, River City Rowing Club, to club members dated Monday, April 30, 2007.  The letter addresses the club dues proposal and financial statement for 2007-2008.

Note: On May 7, 2007, the Board of Directors adopted membership dues for 2007-2008, as well as the volunteer requirement for each member.   Read the summary of the adopted items.

Fellow RCRC Members,

Attached is the dues proposal and financial statement for 2007-2008.*  Detailed discussions of the financial status of the Club and the need for an increase in dues in order to cover operational expenses has occurred at the last two Board meetings.  In the attached document, the RCRC Board has compiled information on the proposed dues increase and provided a description of the financial status of the Club.

Please take a moment or two and read through this document. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact the Board members.

In addition, Board members will also be available Wednesday and Thursday morning before and after practice for questions. If you are unable to open the attachment, some paper copies will be available in the boathouse starting Wednesday morning.

The RCRC Board will be voting on this proposal at the next Board Meeting on Monday, May 7th at 7:00pm. As always, any and all Club members are welcome to attend the Board meetings.
