Assistant Coach - Junior Team

Under the direction of the Junior Team lead coaches, the Junior Team Assistant Coach runs regular season practices for athletes assigned to them that day, depending on the relative need of the lead coaches. On most days the assistant coach will work with a group of athletes separately from the lead coach, implementing the practice plan provided by the lead coach, running the athletes through the assigned workout/drills for the day, and providing technical coaching while ensuring the safety of all athletes under their supervision. Communication with the lead coach is essential to this role, both to understand the daily plan and goals, and to provide the lead coach with a brief summary of the practice and athletes’ progress.
